Deres searching for youth team
venue |
The
manager of the Erith & Belvedere's under eighteen side has put out an
urgent plea as they search for a suitable ground to play their Kent Youth
League matches this season, writes Stephen McCartney. The Deres have been forced out of their previous ground, and now face a race against time to find a base in time for the start of their season in early September. "Due to circumstances beyond our control we have been forced to leave our home venue for the past two seasons," Sean Clarke told www.kentishfootball.co.uk "With the league kick off fast approaching we find ourselves homeless so to speak. "We are hoping someone has a pitch available and help us out in what is rapidly becoming an increasingly desperate search for a venue." The ground must come under the following Kent Youth League criteria: 1) Pitch must be roped off 2) Changing rooms for both teams and match officials 3) Matches kick off at 11am 4) Clubhouse or bar available If anyone can assist, please telephone Sean Clarke on 07950 742 544.
