Fisher pass the screen test

SOUTHERN League Division One East promotion-chasers Fisher Athletic have signed former Southend United midfielder, Dean Holness – otherwise known as Campbell Hooper from Sky One’s ‘Dream Team’ Harchester United!

Holness has joined the Dockers after the departure of Charlie Taylor, plus a recent injury to striker Leon Braithwaite left Fisher with just two recognised forwards in Steve Watts and Damian Scannell.

The 28-year-old Lewisham-born player made two appearances for the Shrimpers during one season as a professional.

However, since then he has carved out a career for himself in television and film, appearing in ‘Mike Bassett England Manager’ as well as a number of TV dramas and, of course, ‘Dream Team’, reports www.nonleaguedaily.com
