Former Gillingham player White, who had a spell on-loan at Gravesend &
Northfleet last season, is the son of Brighton reserve team manager Dean, while
Yates comes to the club from relegated neighbours Hastings United, whom White
also managed.
The third arrival is that of former Whitstable Town goalkeeper Lee Hook, who was
Eastern Division side Sittingbourne's player of the season during the last
campaign..
Defender John Price, who was voted as Boro's Supporters' Player of the Season,
during the promotion campaign, has left the club after failing to agree a new
deal.
The departure of Price was a disappointment. He was an integral part of Sports'
success story last season, scoring nine goals from 55 appearances.
Manager Garry Wilson said that the parting had been amicable, but that they had
been unable to agree terms.
Other departures from Boro's squad include Peter Baker by mutual agreement, and
Justin Harris, while on the injury front, Matthew Crabb has undergone
arthroscopic ('key-hole') surgery on his knee.
