Enjoy a good day out with Hythe Town

GO TRAVEL Kent League club Hythe Town have booked a double-decker bus to allow players and supporters to travel together for a double-header friendly at Ringmer, writes Stephen McCartney.

Hythe visit the Sussex outfit on Saturday 7th August, their final pre-season friendly before their Kent League campaign gets underway seven days later.

The bus leaves their Reachfields Stadium at 11.30am, with the cost £10 for adults and half price for concessions.

The club are offering the chance to enjoy a day out with the full playing squad, watch two games of football and share a few drinks supplied inside Ringmer's lovely clubhouse.

The matches kick off at 2.30pm (first team) and 5.00pm (reserve team)

Meanwhile, Hythe Town have published their pre-season fixture list.

Ryman Premier Division side Dover Athletic are the visitors to Reachfields on Saturday (17th July, 3pm) before they visit Kent County League side Crockenhill seven days later.

Hastings United, playing in the Ryman League Division One this season, visit Reachfields on Tuesday 27 July (7.45pm) before Dr Martens League Division One East outfit Chatham Town visit on Saturday 31st July (3.00pm) while Hythe's reserves travel to Tenterden Town.

Easier opposition in the form of Westfield are their next opponents at Reachfields (Tuesday 3rd August, 7.30pm)  before the double-header at Ringmer on Saturday 7th August.
