Kentish Observer League Cup Group D | Martin Wiseman reports from The Small Glen |
Slade Green | 0 | |
Thamesmead Town | 2 | Burns
60 Thomas 67 |
Realistically
Slade Green's chances of qualifying for the first knockout stage of the
Kent League Cup became remote on Saturday when in Group D they lost for
the second time in a fortnight to local rivals Thamesmead Town, writes
Martin Wiseman.
With three straight wins
in the group, without conceding a goal, Thamesmead have pretty much booked
their ticket into the quarter finals, despite being faced with two
upcoming encounters against Beckenham Town. |
