Webb returns to VCD

Former youth team manager Steve Webb has been appointed the new reserve team manager at Kentish Observer Kent League club VCD Athletic, writes Stephen McCartney.

Webb is no stranger to the Oakwood outfit having run their under 18 MUSH Kent Youth League side for two seasons.

"Its a good appointment for the club," first team boss Martin Ford told the club's website.

"Steve knows the club inside out, knows how we operate and has good contacts."

Webb will appoint his backroom staff this week with two old VCD faces expected to return to the club
