Bromley | 1 | Tompkins 78 |
Bromley
grabbed a league win in East London with their only effort on target in
the entire match against a surprisingly poor Leyton side. There was a
downside though, with injuries to Nic McDonnell, Tutu Henriques, Fraser
Logan and Sam Wood, writes Colin Head. The
game was a scrappy disjointed affair not helped by Referee Mr Bushell who
was over fussy and far too keen to use his whistle. In
the second half Bromley pressed for a while Mark Tompkins shooting wide
from distance, but as the game proceeded Leyton got on top and were first
to every ball as the pressed, Shipp going very close.
