Bromley boss Mark Goldberg brings in trio to aid survival bid

Friday 13th January 2012

BROMLEY have today unveiled the signings of three players as they look forward to a trip to Blue Square Bet South leaders Woking tomorrow.

Mark Goldberg’s side have failed to win in any of their last fourteen matches and as a result of their poor form they slipped into the bottom three after losing at home to Basingstoke Town last weekend.

But Goldberg has brought in a trio of players ahead of their trip to Woking, a side that have lost two league games this season.

Forwards Antonio German and Pierre Joseph-Dubois arrive at Hayes Lane, along with goalkeeper, Joe Welch who has joined the Club on loan from Ebbsfleet United.

German came through the ranks at Queens Park Rangers to make his first team debut against Plymouth in 2009, scoring his first senior goal against Doncaster Rovers. He has had previous spells with Aldershot Town, Southend United and Yeovil Town and started this season at Blue Square Bet Premier outfit, Stockport County.

Joseph-Dubois joins from Blue Square Bet Premier side, Hayes & Yeading United, having made twenty one starts this season and can play either out wide of up front.

He started his career at Reading in their academy set up before joining Grays Athletic upon his release in 2007. He then spent time at Crawley Town and Weymouth before joining the Middlesex club at the start of this season.

Welch began his career as a youth player at Southend United before getting his first taste of first team football at Histon in 2008. The 6ft 3in goalkeeper made the number 1 jersey his own and played the entire 2010/11 season for the Blue Square Bet Premier side. He caught the eye of Stevenage and despite training with the Npower League One side signed a contract with Ebbsfleet United at the start of the season.

Meanwhile, forward Bradley Goldberg has been recalled by Charlton Athletic and Rob Gillman has informed the club of his decision to leave Hayes Lane and has signed for basement side Thurrock, where he lines up alongside his former Dover Athletic teammates Luke I’Anson and Ben Hunt and Martin Hayes’ number two, Paul Joynes.
