Brown's off to Rusthall - EXCLUSIVE

Tuesday 17th July 2007

Rusthall manager Hugo Langton has secured his third signing of the summer, as experienced midfielder Kevin Brown put pen to paper last night, writes Stephen McCartney.

Brown played his football at Rustics’ Kent League neighbours, Tunbridge Wells last season, and like striker Dave Blundell, jumped at the chance of moving from Culverden Stadium to Jockey Farm.

“This is brilliant news for the club,” Langton said EXCLUSIVELY to www.kentishfootball.co.uk today. “He has a great footballing pedigree and comes from excellent footballing stock.

“Having been a YTS at Gillingham, he has played for many of Kent’s top clubs over the years. He is exactly the sort of player I want at this club.

“He is not motivated by money, but by the challenge that lies ahead for this football club.

“He has seen the bigger picture and wants to play for us, and like the rest of us, is motivated purely by getting this club into the Kent League.

“Kevin’s experience and quality will be invaluable.”
