Canterbury City begin search for reserve team manager

CANTERBURY CITY have begun the search for a suitably qualified coach or manager to support their reserve team next season.



The Kent League club appointed striker Simon Austin as the club’s player manager and he is looking to strengthen his management structure.

A club statement said: “As part of the continuing plan to develop Canterbury City, the club is currently looking to appoint a suitably qualified coach/manager to support the important reserve team.

“The ideal candidate will play a key role working closely with the new first team manager and coaches and align closely with the youth section.

“Applicants should have or be training towards having appropriate qualifications being UEFA B along with the ability to coach and develop players at all levels and ages.”

The first-team play at Herne Bay’s Winch’s Field and they finished in ninth-place in the Kent League last season.
