Darts let kids* in for free for Princes Park's fourth anniversary

Wednesday 10th November 2010
DARTFORD have come a long way in a very short space of time and the Kent club are putting on many events to celebrate their fourth anniversary at Princes Park Stadium, writes Stephen McCartney.

Manager Tony Burman has led the club to two league titles during that time and look forward to a trip to League Two Port Vale in the FA Cup First Round replay next Tuesday, but before that the Darts welcome Dorchester Town in Blue Square Bet South.

The club are having a special KIDS GO FREE (*all children under the age of 11 and accompanied by an adult) match to mark the stadium’s fourth anniversary.

Wayne Perrey and Anna Woodside from the cast of The Orchard’s unmissable Christmas show,
Jack and the Beanstalk, will be making their way to Princes Park.

The birthday celebrations begin with photos from the starts at 2pm, alongside other fantastic family fun activities in and around the grounds.

Also as a celebration, all children under the age of 11 will be admitted into the ground FREE of charge when accompanied by an adult.

A club spokesman said: “Why not come and support Dartford FC in their last match before travelling up to Port Vale in the crucial FA Cup First Round Replay.”

So far, at least 100 Dartford supporters have indicated on the club’s fans’ forum that they will be making the trip up to Staffordshire for next Tuesday’s FA Cup replay.

Meanwhile,
The Darts won their first away game of the season, winning 2-0 at fellow FA Cup heroes Dover Athletic last night, courtesy of goals from in-form winger Ryan Hayes and midfielder Ollie Berquez.
