Dryden returns to Folkestone on two-year contract

FOLKESTONE INVICTA have tonight unveiled the return of star striker James Dryden on a two-year contract.

Invicta chairman Mr Gordon Wallis is delighted to bring the striker back to Cheriton Road after two and a half years with local rivals Dover Athletic.

“Throughout our negotiations I have been extremely impressed by Jim’s keeness to play for Folkestone and the way he can’t wait to start scoring goals for us,” Mr Wallis told www.folkestoneinvicta.co.uk.

Manager Neil Cugley believes Dryden will spearhead the club’s push towards promotion back to the Ryman Premier League at the end of next season.

He said: “Jim has made a major contribution at Dover, reaching the play-off’s on two occasions and of course promotion this season, that’s why I am so pleased to have a player of this quality in my side for the coming season."
