Dulwich Hamlet keep their play-off aspirations alive with a clinical 6-1 win over Sittingbourne at Champion Hill tonight. A hat-trick from Charlie Taylor helped them on their way on what was a very bad night for the Kent side.

It’s a horror show for the Kent side as former Ashford Town defender Marc Cumberbatch’s bullet header from six-yards fliews into the left-corner, following the home side’s first corner of the second half.

Taylor completed his 12-minute hat-trick when he unleashed a stunning left-footed curler, which flew past the diving Lewington and it was three after 38 minutes when Alex Martin whipped in a free-kick from the right and Lewington failed to come for the ball and this allowed Taylor to thump his header down and over the goalkeeper.

Taylor is, however, fouled inside the box by Billy Manners, who escapes without a card, and Taylor’s penalty is well saved, low to his right by Lewington.

However, the spot kick has to be retaken, and Taylor’s right-footed penalty sends the ex-Hamlet keeper the wrong way as the ball flies into the right-corner.

Sittingbourne defender Ryan Andrews is booked for his part in the hotly-disputed penalty re-take.
