I'm pleased that we're in a better position than last season, says Tonbridge Angels boss Steve McKimm

DULWICH HAMLET boss Gavin Rose says he is refusing to panic with his side sitting in seventh-place in the Ryman Premier League after seven games.

 

The Hamlet have won three, drawn two and lost two so far in the league and are six points adrift of league leaders Grays Athletic at this early stage.

Dulwich Hamlet welcome Billericay Town to Champion Hill Stadium tomorrow, before Leatherhead visit on Tuesday night.

Billericay Town sit in the bottom-seven, having won one, drawn three and lost three of their league games.

“It’s early days in the season and the league will start to take shape in the next five to seven games for everyone,” said Rose.

“We’ve done ok with a lot of growth to come on our performances and results.

“Billericay always pose tough opposition and we’re expecting the same tomorrow.

“We’re at home and want to make that count, of course.”

TONBRIDGE ANGELS boss Steve McKimm takes his side to Wingate & Finchley, a side that have also started the campaign well.

Wingate & Finchley are in third-place in the Ryman Premier League table, having collected five wins and a draw from their six league outings.

The Angels, meanwhile, travel to north London sitting one place lower and are in a rich vein of goalscoring form of late.

McKimm’s men have won four, drawn two and lost one of their league games and have scored 23 league goals, the most in the division.

“Tough game!! Wingate have started better than us,” said McKimm.

“I’m pleased that we are in a better position than last season, but there’s a long way to go.”
