A point is always good away from home, says Tonbridge Angels boss Steve McKimm

DULWICH HAMLET manager Gavin Rose says his players have trained well this week as they bid to get back to winning ways.

The Hamlet have failed to win in their last three games and have slipped from top to third in the Ryman Premier League table on 61 points from 34 games, five points behind surprise leaders East Thurrock United.

Rose takes his side to third-from-bottom side Brentwood Town tomorrow, a side that are struggling to come to terms with this level of football following promotion.

“We were disappointed not to have got three points on Saturday, albeit Farnborough being a much improved side to the one we faced earlier in the season,” Rose said of their 2-2 home draw last weekend.

“The boys have trained well this week and know we encounter another tough away game at Brentwood, who are battling for survival in the league.”

TONBRIDGE ANGELS are uneaten in five going into their trip to Kingstonian.

Steve McKimm’s side are in fourth-place in the table, a couple of points behind The Hamlet and with two games in hand.

The Angels came away from Grays Athletic with a point in a 1-1 draw, with midfielder Tom Parkinson netting his 12^th goal of the season on Wednesday night.

“It was a hard earned point on a difficult pitch, which we could’ve won. A point is always good away from home,” said McKimm.

Sutton resident McKimm is looking forward to their trip to Kingsmeadow tomorrow to play a Kingstonian side in seventh-place and only four points behind.

“Kingstonian are a strong and organised side with Pelayo Pico Gomez and Andre McCollin a threat.”
