Erith Town manager Adam Woodward rewarded with a new three-year contract
ERITH TOWN have tied down manager Adam Woodward to a new three-year contract.
“In May 2017, when Adam jointed the club, he had a five-year plan to implement a structure of re-establishing Erith Town to be competitive and strong, both on and off the pitch,” said chairman Mark Deveney in a statement.
“With the tireless work of Adam and his staff, The Dockers' have a clear pathway for anyone to be successful.
“We are growing at a rapid rate. We now have two community schemes, 10 youth sides, a post-16 Academy, an under 23s team and of course the first-team.
“This season, Adam became the longest-serving Dockers' manager and we felt it only right that his dedication to the cause should be recognised and rewarded.
“The values we have at the club have given everyone a hunger and desire to be successful, from our hard-working volunteers to our under sevens through to the first-team.
“Loyalty and hard work matters at football clubs and none more so than at Erith Town Football Club.”
Erith Town are presently in sixth-place in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division table, having collected 16 wins and three draws from their 30 league games.
The Dockers’ travel to Gillingham to play Hollands & Blair on Saturday, 5 March 2022 and have eight league games left to play of the 2021-22 campaign.
