FA Cup First Round Draw: Ebbsfleet on road again if they see off Woking

Sunday 26th October 2008

EBBSFLEET UNITED, the last remaining Kent non-league club in the FA Cup, will travel to Coca-Cola League basement boys, Crewe Alexandra in the first round - if they knock out fellow Blue Square Premier side Woking in Tuesday night’s replay at Stonebridge Road.

Gillingham, who start at this hurdle, travel to a Bury side that are currently one place above them in Coca-Cola League Two.

The draw was made LIVE on ITV1 from FA headquarters in Soho Square.

The programme showed clips from the qualifying rounds of the competition, including Kent club Cray Wanderers, running out of the players tunnel at Hayes Lane, in front of the famous piece of silverware, ahead of their comfortable 4-1 win over Chichester City United in the preliminary round on 31st August 2008 - a game that was covered by www.kentishfootball.co.uk.
