Fisher faithful pound the streets of London to raise money for their club
A group of Fisher supporters have pounded the streets of the capital today to raise money for the fan-owned Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division club.
Labelled the F2F Challenge, the group walked across London from Craven Cottage, the home of Championship club Fulham, to Fisher’s St Paul’s Stadium in Rotherhithe, taking in some football stadiums, including Chelsea and Millwall and iconic London landmarks like Big Ben and Trafalgar Square during their 10 mile sponsored walk.
The Fisher faithful have so far raised £1,510 for the club and donations can be made via the club website link below.
Ajay Ashanike’s side were in 12th place in the table at the time of the abandonment of the 2019-20 campaign due to the coronavirus health pandemic.
