We have a large squad at the moment so tomorrow I’ll be making seven changes for our Vase game against Corinthian, reveals Fisher boss Dean Harrison
FISHER manager Dean Harrison says he will be making seven changes for their FA Vase First Qualifying Round tie against league rivals Corinthian tomorrow.
The Fish have home advantage on Michael Golding’s side and has revealed that he will tinker with team selection, which is a risky business.
Fisher sit in ninth-place in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division table, with seven points from five games, while Corinthian go into the Vase tie sitting in the top five on 10 points.
Harrison said: “August will be looked back on by us as a month of missed opportunities. Seven points from a possible 15 could have been so much better but we know now that we can definitely compete at this level and the positives are outweighing the negatives at the club.
“We have a large squad at the moment so tomorrow I’ll be making seven changes for our Vase game against Corinthian.
“We have a lot of boys who haven’t played many minutes and the season will be a long one.
“We need to make sure players are ready to step in when called upon.
“We all know Corinthian are a good side and have got too to a decent start this year so it will be a great opportunity for some of our players to stake a claim for starting positions in the upcoming league fixtures.”
