Free drink at Rusthall's opening League game

RUSTHALL are giving supporters a free drink at their opening Vandanel Kent County League game of the season, writes Stephen McCartney.

The Rustics welcome Cray Valley to Jockey Farm on Saturday, 23^rd August, with an unique offer to get supporters through the turnstiles.

The club are charging admission for first team games this season, albeit a token £2, but Richard Smith, the club’s social secretary and programme editor, explained to www.kentishfootball.co.uk this morning what they’re doing to attract a bigger gate than usual.

He said: “If supporters present their ticket at the bar they will receive a free hot drink or a bottle of beer for just 50p.

“There will be a penalty competition at half time, featuring a number of the club’s youth players.

“The club shop will be open with a number of special offers, including a great selection of non-league programmes."

Mr Smith added: “So if you are at a lose end on 23^rd August, why not pop along to Jockey Farm (in Nellington Lane, Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells). You are assured a warm welcome at this friendly club.”
