Halstead United boss Dennis Hughes: We feel we will have a strong squad to challenge
NEWLY-APPOINTED Halstead United manager Dennis Hughes says he’s feeling confident that he will be a success at Station Road next season.
The club finished in sixth-place in the Andreas Carter Joma Kent County League Division One West table last season after suffering relegation from the Premier Division.

Hughes invites players to open trials on Sunday 25 June between 12:00-14:00 at the club’s Recreation Ground, Station Road, Halstead TN14 7DH.
“We are hoping for a top finish and challenge for the Premier Division spot,” said Hughes.
“We have had a good response to our trials day and will be selecting the squad shortly.
“As all club’s we are hoping for a good season and we look forward to hosting all our opponents. I wish them all good luck in the coming season.
“We feel we will have a strong squad to challenge. With new sponsors on board the future looks good for Halstead United.”
