Highly-rated goalkeeper stays with Margate

Monday 16th July 2007

Margate manager Robin Trott has broken his close-season silence, by announcing that his highly-rated goalkeeper, Scott Chalmers-Stevens has re-signed for the Ryman Premier League club.

James Pinnock and Justin Skinner have also put pen to paper to re-sign for the Hartsdown Park club.

With Mike Flanagan leaving, Trott has asked Steve McKimm to become the club’s player-coach, which he's accepted.

Meanwhile, Trott is currently in negotiations with a new striker to replace Danny Hockton, who opted for a move to Blue Square Southern big-spenders, Bromley, despite being half-way through his two-year contract.
