I'm delighted to have Jean-Michel Sigere on board, says Chatham Town boss Kevin Watson

CHATHAM TOWN boss Kevin Watson has tonight unveiled his first summer signing.

French striker Jean-Michel Sigere has put pen to paper and has signed for the Kent club, who will be playing their second successive campaign in Ryman League Division One North next season.

The 35-year-old played in that division for Grays Athletic last season and Watson is delighted to have signed the much-travelled striker, who started his career with Bordeaux, before coming to England to play for Rushden & Diamonds back in 2000, where he won the Conference Premier title.

He has previously played for three Kent clubs, Margate, Gravesend & Northfleet (now Ebbsfleet United) and Tonbridge Angels.

“Siggy has always impressed and has always been a handful,” Watson told www.chathamtownfc.net.

“He did it last year for Grays and we are obviously delighted to have him on board for the new season.”

Chatham Town will be Sigere’s sixteenth club in English football.
