It was really important that we strengthened the side after a disappointing December, says Brown
Ladapo, 21, has scored 14 goals this season for Ryman Premier League side Grays Athletic after joining on loan from Vanarama Conference Premier Side Kidderminster Harriers in the summer.
The Nigerian born striker started his career at League One side Colchester United’s U21’s where he featured regularly before signing for Kidderminster Harriers.
The striker made his first appearance for the Harriers in their FA Cup fourth Round defeat at Sunderland in 2014.
Brown told http://www.margate-fc.co.uk/ that he is delighted to add another goalscorer to his ranks at Hartsdown Park.
He said: “It was really important that we strengthened the side having had a disappointing December. I just wanted to shake up the squad.
“Freddie caused us no end of problems both home and away and caused our centre half’s trouble.
"He is a very talented boy who scored lots of goals for Colchester U21’s before moving to Kidderminster and then scoring 14 goals so far this season for Grays”.
Ladapo is match fit and will go straight into the squad to face Dulwich Hamlet at Hartsdown Park on Saturday.
Gavin Rose’s side are in third-place in the Ryman Premier League table – four points and a place behind Margate – but failed to close the gap on the Kent coast club after going down to a 2-1 home defeat to Leiston last night.
