I've never been involved in such a tight league, says Angels striker Adrian Stone

TONBRIDGE ANGELS striker Adrian Stone says he is expecting a tough game at fellow play-off contenders Harrow Borough on Saturday, writes Stephen McCartney.
Stone, 28, who hails from Bromley, came off the bench and bagged two goals towards the end of an important 4-0 win over a poor Carshalton Athletic side last weekend.
The Angels climbed up to second place in the Ryman Premier League table on 70 points, and only one point separates them from Lowestoft Town in fifth-place, so all of their last remaining three league games must be won to clinch a play-off berth as the west Kent club bid to claim promotion into Blue Square Bet South with champions Sutton United.
It will not be easy, however, as Tommy Warrilow takes his side to sixth-placed Harrow Borough on Saturday - a side that have accumulated 68 points - followed by the grudge match at home to struggling Hastings United on Easter Monday, before finishing their league campaign away to sixth-from-bottom Horsham on 30 April.
Looking ahead to the trip to Harrow, Stone said, “I’ve been in relegation battles and I’ve been in promotion fights and I’ve never seen a league like this, it’s so tight!
“It’s going to be a tough battle up there, but if we play like we did in our last two games, we should win.”
Assistant manager, Alex O’Brien, meanwhile, knows what to expect from Harrow Borough.
“They’ll be decent without a shadow of a doubt,” he said.
“Harrow Borough are a good side, very pacy; very good on the ball; like to score goals, but so are we!
Back in February, Tonbridge Angels striker Ade Olorunda faced harsh abuse from supporters of his former club during the Angels’ 2-1 win down at Hastings.
But the Angels can get their own back by clinching three vital points on Easter Monday at a passionate Longmead Stadium.
“I’m sure that will be a bit of a ding-dong, what with us going there and what happened,” added O’Brien.
But O’Brien insists everyone in the Angels camp can handle the pressure and five more wins the club will join the likes of Bromley, Dartford, Dover Athletic, Ebbsfleet United and Welling United (if the Fleet or the Wings don’t clinch promotion) in Blue Square Bet South next season.
“I think there’s pressure in any league this time of the season, but I’d rather have the pressure of going or a play-off rather than trying to stay in the league.
“I’ve been lucky, I’ve not experienced (relegation), but it can’t be that good or nice to know you haven’t been there or there abouts over the whole season.
