Kent sides avoid first round of Championship Manager Cup

KENT sides have avoided the first round of the Isthmian League Cup, which is sponsored by Championship Manager and kick’s off on Tuesday, 20th October, writes Stephen McCartney.

There are only two ties for the first round:

Cheshunt v Northwood

Godalming Town v Merstham

The draw for the second round of the competition will be made next Monday, 12th October, with matches scheduled in for week commencing, Monday, 9th November.

The remaining rounds are scheduled for the following weeks:

Third Round - 16 matches - Tuesday 8th December 2009

Fourth Round - 8 matches - Tuesday 12th January 2010

Quarter-Finals - 4 matches - Tuesday 9th February 2010

Semi-Finals - 2 matches - Tuesday 2nd March 2010

Final - 1 match - Wednesday 24th March 2010

Meanwhile, the first round of the Kent Senior Cup has been drawn and Ryman League Division One North neighbours VCD Athletic and Thamesmead Town will lock horns at Oakwood on Tuesday 20th October. The second round draw (the last sixteen) has yet been made.
