The jubilant Angels side celebrate their deserved win. The players then walk towards the dug-out for the presentation, to be made by Kent County Football Association chairman Mr Barry Bright. Both managers receive their awards, followed by the match officials, before Cray go up to receive their runners-up medals. The public address announcer urges fans to give them a good round of applause but it will be Angels skipper Sim Johnson, like he did at Stonebridge Road a couple of years ago, who lifts up the Kent Intermediate Cup, after his team-mates receive their winners medals.

Matt Crane’s bullet header after 33 minutes proves decisive as Tonbridge Angels win the Kent Intermediate Cup. The last time that Julian Leigh’s side won this competition was in 2006 when they won 4-0 at Gravesend & Northfleet.
