New Angels striker Greenway out for 2 months with broken metatarsal

Tonbridge Angels’ striker, Adam Greenway could be out of action for upto eight weeks, announce the Ryman Premier League club.

The summer signing from Bromley has broken his metatarsal in his right foot, which on average takes six to eight weeks to heal.

He is currently in plaster after his right foot tangled with Tunbridge Wells’ defender, Ben Hilden during the first half of Tuesday night’s match between the two sides at the Betterview Longmead Stadium.

The Angels won the game courtesy of three quality second half goals, scored by Ray Powell, Jon Main and Hamid Barr.

Fleet Town visit tomorrow, kick off at 3pm.



INJURY:  Tunbridge Wells defender, Ben Hilden (red) slides in to win the ball from Adam Greenway during Tuesday night's derby.  Greenway, signed from Bromley during the close season, was substituted after 33 minutes of Tonbridge Angels' 3-0 win.
