Oliver Ash close to taking over Maidstone United

MAIDSTONE UNITED shareholder Oliver Ash has agreed terms, subject to contract, with chairman Paul Bowden-Brown for a takeover of the Ryman Premier League club.


Subject to the final contract and completion of financial and legal documents, Mr Bowden-Brown will pass control to Mr Ash.

In a statement issued to www.maidstoneunited.co.uk, Mr Bowden-Brown said: “It has taken hours of work to get us to this point. Heads of Terms, subject to contract, were signed on Wednesday. 

“Oliver and I are very close to a conclusion and we will inform everyone once we have finalised everything and agreed a takeover date.”

While off the pitch matters are concluded, the first team are preparing for their FA Cup First Qualifying Round tie away to Brighton based side Whitehawk on Saturday.
