OPK fix up friendlies with half a dozen Kent League sides

PROGRESSIVE Vandanel Kent County League Division Two West side OPK FC have announced a pre-season schedule which will see the first team’s new dynamic management of Martin Reece and former Kent League winner Marlon Button pit their wits against a number of Kent Premier League sides, writes Stephen McCartney.

“Entry to all OPK games are free, and with a quality team being assembled plus catering facilities provided at home games, the club are sure that you will enjoy watching both our first and reserve teams take the field,” club spokesman Thomas Hawes told www.kentishfootball.co.uk.

The highlights of OPK’s pre-season include games against a VCD Athletic XI at Oakwood as well as a visit to Winch’s Field to face a Herne Bay XI.

The club’s reserves meanwhile kick-off their pre-season campaign against AFC Sevenoaks on Saturday 1^st August.
