Although Tilbury start the game as favourites we fear no one now, says Phoenix Sports boss Steve O'Boyle
PHOENIX SPORTS manager Steve O’Boyle says his side do not fear Tilbury going into tomorrow’s game.
The Dockers arrive in Barnehurst sitting in the top five in the Ryman League Division One North table on 48 points from 24 games.
Phoenix Sports, meanwhile, are sitting slap bang in the middle of the table (12th), having won 12, drawn five and lost 12 of their league outings, their first season at this level.
“We meet a team in really good form and are on a good unbeaten run,” said O’Boyle.
“They are in the play-off positions at the moment. We go into the game on the back of a narrow defeat away to Thamesmead, where we would’ve definitely got something from the game.
“Although they start the game as favourites we fear no one now, especially after beating Cray Wanderers in our last home game.”
O’Boyle said at lunchtime today, “pitch is looking in good condition for tomorrow’s game.”
