BEARSTED manager Kevin Stevens was awarded the last Kent Invicta League manager-of-the-year award after winning the league title.  The Bears will be playing Southern Counties East Football League Premier football for the first time next season.

BROMLEY’S Academy side finished in third-place at this years’ 20-team Hageland Cup (Under 19) tournament in Belgium.

Steve Baker’s side finished second in their group behind eventual runners up Wolfdonk Sports of Belgium.

The third-fourth place play-off saw Bromley paired against FC Pepingen, a side who play in the third tier of Belgium football.  Goals from Daniel Ajakaiye and Victor Naranjo sealed Bromley a 2-0 win and third place.

Bromley conceded just once in the entire tournament, while Dutch side RKSV Halsteren went on to lift the trophy.

CANVEY ISLAND manager Danny Heale has made former Dartford striker George Sykes his first summer signing. Sykes has scored 10 goals in 25 appearances for the Essex club in earlier loan spells from Barnet and Dartford.

CROCKENHILL appoint their captain Kevin Dalrymple as their new manager, replacing John Bourke, who has joined their Southern Counties East Football League Division One rivals Kent Football United, as assistant and goalkeeper coach to Ennio Gonnella.

DOVER ATHLETIC have released five players after finishing their Vanarama National League campaign in a personal best of fifth-place, before losing to Forest Green Rovers 2-1 on aggregate in the play-offs.
Craig Barham-Barrett, Naby Diallo, Thomas Murphy, Duane Ofori-Acheampong and Andrew Rafferty have been released.

Jamie Grimes, Sam Magri, Tyrone Marsh, Ricky Miller, Ricky Modeste, Richard Orlu, Jack Parkinson, Tyrone Sterling, Aswad Thomas and Mitchell Walker are players already under contract.

Liam Bellamy, Nicky Deverdics, Chris Kinnear Junior and Sean Raggett have been offered terms for next season.

Dover Athletic have signed Jim Stevenson, 24, from their league rivals Aldershot Town.  The dynamic box-to-box midfielder scored six times in 49 appearances for The Shots last season and has previously played for Luton Town.

DULWICH HAMLET have agreed terms with goalkeeper Preston Edwards, who will join the Ryman Premier League club once his contract at National League South Ebbsfleet United expires.

Boss Gavin Rose told the Dulwich Hamlet website: “We’re happy to have retained the services of Preston, who signed a pre-contract that will start next season once his existing contract with Ebbsfleet runs out.”

Former goalkeeper Phil Wilson, meanwhile, has signed for Hamlet’s league rivals Merstham.

ERITH 147 SPORTS have appointed Joe Diggins as their new first team manager and he will be assisted by Mick McCall and Andy Browne.

GREENWICH BOROUGH boss Gary Alexander says winger Ryan Dolby will be leaving the club through work commitments.

Borough won the Southern Counties East Football League title last season and will be playing Ryman League Division One South football for the first time in August.

Alexander told www.greenwichboroughfc.co.uk: “Sometimes you have to respect a players honesty and realise you can’t win them all. I am not going to lie, it’s a loss to the club.

“I gave him time to think about it and he has come back to me and put his cards on the table and fair play to the guy, he has been honest with me and it’s a great credit to him.

“The man has been a credit to work with this season and I fully understand where he is coming from.  Even if he wishes to play somewhere with less pressure at another club there will be no hard feelings and I wish him all the best.  He is a top bloke and a loss to the club but both John (Mackie) and myself have great respect for his honesty.”

Meanwhile, former Phoenix Sports and Lordswood striker Yacine Gnahore has also departed.

K SPORTS manager Kris Browning has added Mark Irvine to his coaching staff for next season.

The manager of the artist formerly known as APM Contrast, said: “Mark is someone I have wanted to join the clubs coaching staff for some time and he will bring great experience.”

MAIDSTONE UNITED have re-signed midfielder Ben Greenhalgh, 24, after a season with Concord Rangers. Heading the opposite way is Alex Akrofi, who will be joining the Beach Boys on loan.

MARGATE have signed defender Yado Mambo, 24, who becomes Nikki Bull’s fifth-summer signing behind Mike Fondop-Talum, Elliott Buchannan, Scott Donnelly and Michael Thalassitis.

Mambo started his career with Charlton Athletic and spent time out on loan at Football League sides AFC Wimbledon and Shrewsbury Town in 2012.

He has also spent loan spells at Kent clubs Welling United, Ebbsfleet United and Dover Athletic and was registered to relegated National League South side Hayes & Yeading last season.

TONBRIDGE ANGELS have signed pacy winger Bradley Fortnam-Tomlinson, who has previously played for Grays Athletic and Bishop’s Stortford.
