Friday 16th November 2007

www.kentishfootball.co.uk brings you all the latest transfer news, involving Ebbsfleet United, Tonbridge Angels, Margate and Dartford.

Ebbsfleet United central defender Warren Goodhind, 30, has left the club and is expected to join Blue Square South side Eastleigh, where former Fleet goalkeeper James Pullen now plies his trade.

The South African joined the Fleet on non-contract terms in August 2007 and the former Barnet, Cambridge United and Rochdale defender has made nine appearances for the Kent Blue Square Premier club.

A club statement, issued today on its website www.ebbsfleetunited.co.uk, said: “Everyone at Ebbsfleet would like to thank Warren for his contribution and wishes him well at his new club.”

Tommy Warrilow has completed his first signing as Tonbridge Angels’ manager, having enticed John Westcott from his former club.

The 28-year-old winger, who lives in Eastbourne, east Sussex, made a total of 169 appearances for Horsham, scoring 25 goals and arrives on a free-transfer.

With star-striker Jon Main, 26, leaving the Angels on Wednesday afternoon to sign for Ryman Premier League rivals, AFC Wimbledon for an undisclosed fee, another player has left the club.

Midfielder Ryan Martin, 20, has opted to sign for Margate on a free-transfer.

Blackheath based Martin, who joined Tonbridge from Fisher Athletic at the start of this season, started seven games for the Angels, and made 12 appearances as a substitute.

Tommy Youle has decided to leave Ryman League Division One North outfit Dartford to sign for Kent League side Beckenham Town.

The striker has been down the pecking order at Princes Park, behind star names Brendon Cass and Jay May, and third-choice, Tom Bradbrook.

“Tommy has decided to go to Beckenham, a move that has my full-backing,” Dartford manager Tony Burman told www.dartfordfc.co.uk.

“I would like to thank Tommy for his help over the last three seasons and wish him all the best in the future.”

Burman added: “He is a player we should all keep our eye on.”
