EBBSFLEET UNITED have extended the loan deal of Charlton Athletic midfielder Alex Stavrinou until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old made his debut in Fleet's first win in 14 games and has helped to win four of his six matches.

Meanwhile, Fleet manager Liam Daish is hoping to sign a new striker in the next few days to boost a team
that have scored just 21 goals in 27 games.

"Something could happen before or over the weekend. We're quite close now," he told BBC Radio Kent.

"I'm just waiting back on that person. If it happens before the weekend then great. If not, I'll wait until the beginning of next week."

WELLING UNITED have cancelled tonight’s Meet the Manager Event due to the weather situation at present.

However, the event has been rescheduled for Friday, 22nd January 2010, starting at 7:30pm, at Park View Road.

TONBRIDGE ANGELS boss Tommy Warrilow will face supporters questions in a Meet the Manager event tomorrow.

Club captain, Anthony Storey and club chairman Steve Churcher and other members of the board will also be available to answer questions from supporters.

All supporters are welcome to attend the event, which will be held in the Longmead Lounge at 12:30pm tomorrow (Saturday, 9th January).

“This is an excellent opportunity for supporters to ask Tommy, the team captain and the board any questions they have on tactics, playing patterns etc,” said club secretary Charlie Cole.

“The format of the meeting will be the same as the previous times we have held an event like this.  Any question that can be answered within the public domain will be addressed.

“This meeting was the idea of Tommy Warrilow, who wants to have an open discussion with all fans at this meeting.

“That only thing that everyone would prefer is that is you have a question to ask you do it personally, and not submit questions via someone else at the meeting.”
