Saturday 05th June 2010
MAIDSTONE UNITED are currently recruiting for the positions of reserve team manager and a U18 Kent Youth League team manager, writes Stephen McCartney.

“As part of a successful community club the roles of reserve team manager and a U18 Kent youth team manager are important positions within the footballing structure at Maidstone United and applicants would be required to adhere to the club’s policy of highlighting and developing local players with the aim of supporting and assisting the first team management,” Tony Cornwell, the club’s first team assistant manager told www.kentishfootball.co.uk.

“The successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a good working knowledge of non-league football, possess good communication skills and adopt a flexible approach to team working.

“A level.2. coaching qualification is preferred as a minimum for both positions although not essential.”

The reserve team plays in the Bulmers Cider Kent League Division One and play mainly on Saturday afternoons with occasional floodlit midweek fixtures.

The Kent Youth League under 18s will play on Sunday mornings and are entered in the Central under 18 Kent Youth League.

Applications and CV’s should be submitted to Tony Cornwell by email Tcparcornwell@aol.com
