Sheppey are up challenging for the title and we are well aware of the challenge in hand, says Tunbridge Wells boss Richard Styles
TUNBRIDGE WELLS manager Richard Styles says he wants his side to bounce back from their disappointing defeat at Kennington.
The Wells went down to a 2-0 defeat at Homelands Stadium last weekend and are in tenth-place in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division table, having banked 10 wins, four draws and eight defeats from their 22 league games.
Styles takes his side to promotion chasing Sheppey United tomorrow, a side in second-place in the table and three points behind leaders Chatham Town, with a game in hand.
“I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s game, against tough opposition. Sheppey are up challenging for the title and we are well aware of the challenge in hand,” said Styles.
“Our last game was one of those games where anything that could’ve gone wrong, did go wrong.
“These games happen from time to time and it’s a case of dusting yourselves down and going again, which we will always do.
“It’s been very frustrating recently with a number of games being called off for different reasons and have struggled in getting momentum together or getting a good run of games in, so my hope is that we can do that tomorrow and the other games we have coming up.
“The boys have had a good weekend and preparation for the game as always has been very good.
“We hope we have a good number of fans in attendance.”
