Welling United appoint new number two

WELLING UNITED have appointed Jimmy Dack as Andy Ford’s new assistant manager.

A statement issued by the Blue Square South club on it’s website www.wellingunited.com said: “Due to personal and business commitments Phil Handford has stepped down as assistant manager.

“Boss Andy Ford has appointed Jimmy Dack as his new number two. The two have worked together before at Stevenage Borough. More recently, Dack was the caretaker manager at Sutton United.

“We thank Phil for all the work he has done and also welcome Jimmy to Park View Road.”
