Wednesday 10th March 2021

WHYTELEAFE begin the search for a new manager after Harry Hudson announced his resignation today.

The Church Road club were in fourth-place in the Isthmian League South East Division table, having collected 13 points from their six league outings before the campaign was curtailed due to the ongoing coronavirus health pandemic.

The former Croydon manager has been at the club with three seasons and felt that “he had taken the club as far as he can.”

“I have enjoyed every minute of my time with the League and fully appreciate the opportunity that the chairman gave me to manage at Step Four,” said Hudson in a statement.

“It was a very difficult decision for me to make and I should like to thank everybody at the club for their trust in me and the fans’ for their phenomenal support.

“I will always have fond memories of my time with Whyteleafe Football Club.”

A club statement added: The club has expressed its thanks to Harry. All involved at the club would like to thank H and wish him well on his future football journey.

“His decision to leave follows the FA’s decision to curtail the 2020-21 season and was made now to give the club as much time as possible to find a replacement before the start of the new season in August.”
